Surly’s American Tavern – a local institution in the heart of Surry Hills – is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to amplify our voice, grow our reach, and keep Surly’s front and centre in Sydney’s hospitality scene.
We’re a high-volume BBQ and Americana dive bar with a cult following, known for smoked meats, stacked burgers, cold beer, live sports, and unforgettable events. With big plans for growth, we’re after a creative and data-driven marketer who can blend strategy, design, and content to bring our brand to life.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Group GM, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and executing marketing campaigns and venue promotions
  • Managing Surly’s social media channels with engaging content, scheduling, and community management
  • Designing eye-catching graphics, video content, and motion assets for digital and in-venue promotion
  • Tracking analytics and reporting on campaign performance to optimise growth
  • Supporting event launches and activations through marketing collateral and social strategy
  • Collaborating with management to ensure consistent brand identity across all platforms
  • Building partnerships, collabs, and content opportunities that increase brand awareness
