QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1+ year of marketing or social media management experience preferred.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Canva, Mailchimp).
  • Creative mindset with an eye for visuals, photography, and video.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Passion for community engagement and family-oriented environments.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Marketing Coordinator at WD Swim Richmond, you will be the driving force behind our local marketing efforts. From social media to community events, you will help us reach more families, strengthen our brand, and celebrate the successes of our swimmers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns for the Richmond location.
  • Manage and grow WD Swim Richmond’s social media presence, including creating engaging posts, videos, and stories.
  • Develop promotional materials such as flyers, banners, and email newsletters.
  • Support and promote special events, open houses, and community initiatives.
  • Track marketing results, analyze engagement metrics, and suggest improvements.
  • Collaborate with instructors, management, and other locations to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Build relationships with local businesses, schools, and community partners to increase visibility.
