REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Demonstrable experience (ideally 1+ years) in a data or marketing analytics role or equivalent knowledge/skills.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, R, Python).
  • Understanding of business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills, able to interpret complex datasets and deliver clear findings.
  • Marketing Acumen: Basic understanding of digital marketing channels (e.g., SEO, PPC, social media) and related metrics.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to present data insights to various audiences.

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly analytical Marketing Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will collect, analyse, and interpret marketing data to support strategic decisions, increase efficiency, and optimise our marketing efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data Gathering & Management: Collect and organise marketing data from various channels, including digital campaigns, social media, and website analytics.
  • Analysis & Interpretation: Identify trends, measure campaign performance, and uncover insights to guide marketing strategies.
  • Reporting & Visualisation: Create clear, concise reports and dashboards to present findings to team members and management.
  • Performance Tracking: Collaborate with the marketing team to set KPIs, monitor campaign results, and recommend improvements.
  • Statistical Methods: Apply predictive modelling and forecasting techniques to anticipate future trends and growth opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product, and other departments to turn data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Maintain data accuracy, adhere to data protection regulations, and follow best practices in data handling.
