SUMMARY
The Marketing and Daxko Engage Coordinator assists in the internal and external marketing efforts for all ASYMCA Killeen.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum two-year marketing and social media work experience.
· High School diploma and BS in Marketing, Business or relevant field is required
· Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
· Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
· Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
· Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
· Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
· Advanced working knowledge of photo editing and video editing software.
· Must have good interpersonal, public relations and communications skills, including the ability to make presentations and handle media inquiries.
· Must understand traditional and digital marketing.
· Must understand digital marketing metrics, analytics, and SEO optimization.
· Basic understanding of HTML.
· Must be able to work as part of a team and individually.
· Must have Social Media experience (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports key leaders with marketing strategies, social media and ASYMCA website and Daxko Engage;
Assist Executive Director in developing and Implementing marketing strategies for Membership Sales and Retention;
Ensure ASYMCA in compliance with graphic standards
Provide support to key leaders with marketing materials in order to promote programs/classes
Oversee Website, ASYMCA App and Daxko Engage under the direction of the Executive Director
Position requires ongoing oversight of Facebook and ASYMCA App outside of normal work hours
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop and support cause-driven marketing strategies that enhance the mission of the Armed Services YMCA and the YMCA of the USA.
· Develop marketing strategies and plans for individual departments
· Handle brand compliance at the association level and ensure that all media is consistent with the mission and brand guidelines of the Armed Services YMCA.
· Monitor and distribute content on social media platforms that is in line with Armed Services YMCA mission and goals.
· Research and understand emerging social media platforms to ascertain its effectiveness of delivery the mission of the Armed Services YMCA.
· Collaborate closely on a constant basis with Program Directors to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content.
· Plan video shoots: scout, select and reserve shoot locations and equipment.
Create, plan and implement Facebook Live’s to promote ASYMCA Killeen programs, classes and leagues
· Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media.
· Manage ASYMCA Branch video library
· Document events and programs via photographs or video to be used internally and externally.
· Work cooperatively with all other departments to ensure that all marketing material print and digital is consistent with the Armed Services YMCA and the YMCA of the USA.
· Develops digital content for and maintains all social media sites, create and sustain a consistent presence and voice, actively engaging with users.
·Oversee, track and work with Executive Director to maximize usage of Daxko Engage
Employee will function as a team to meet branch specific membership sales goals including budgeted membership unit count.
