POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Marketing & Digital Strategy Specialist at OrthoArkansas plays a vital role in executing integrated marketing initiatives that drive patient volume, enhance brand visibility, and strengthen physician engagement. This position is responsible for managing digital content, social media strategy, SEO oversight, vendor coordination, and event execution. You’ll collaborate with physicians and internal stakeholders to ensure all marketing activities align with OrthoArkansas’ brand standards and regulatory compliance.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  • 12+ months of experience in marketing or a related field.
  • Experience with website content management (WordPress or similar platforms).
  • Event coordination and vendor management experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational communication skills.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professionalism in interactions with staff, patients, and physicians.
  • Proficient in marketing software platforms and digital marketing tools.

SOFTWARE SKILLS:

  • Basic: 10-Key, word processing, typing
  • Intermediate: Artificial Intelligence tools, website CMS, email marketing systems
  • Advanced: SEO strategy, social media scheduling and analytics tools

Responsibilities
  • Digital Marketing & SEO Oversight
  • Oversee website content updates, accuracy, and user experience in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Manage SEO vendor or internal specialist to drive keyword optimization, backlinking, and on-page SEO strategies.
  • Track and report website analytics and digital conversion performance.
  • Recommend and implement strategies for increasing online visibility and patient acquisition.
  • Social Media Management
  • Plan, create, and schedule content for social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate on promotional campaigns (urgent care, sports medicine, joint replacement, etc.).
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and track performance metrics.
  • Test new content formats to enhance reach and engagement.
  • Event & Trade Show Coordination
  • Plan and attend community events, trade shows, and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Coordinate logistics, including vendor contracts, signage, and booth setup.
  • Collaborate with physicians and providers to represent the brand at public events.
  • Report event ROI and outcomes to the broader marketing team.
  • Vendor & Partner Coordination
  • Serve as the point of contact for external marketing vendors and media partners.
  • Manage quotes, project timelines, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with sponsors and promotional vendors.
  • Physician & Provider Relations
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives involving physicians including media appearances and photo shoots.
  • Support provider events and referral outreach activities.
  • Manage digital updates and onboarding materials for new physicians.
  • Reporting & Administration
  • Maintain a centralized marketing calendar for campaigns, events, and promotions.
  • Generate and present monthly reports across digital and event performance.
  • Ensure all marketing efforts are brand-compliant and align with healthcare regulations.
