As Director of US Breast Cancer Strategy and Alignment, you'll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients' lives. This position is based at our Gaithersburg, MD campus, headquarters for the US Oncology and the Oncology Business Unit. As the Director of US Breast Cancer Strategy and Alignment, you will play a key role in defining our commercial leadership opportunity in Breast Cancer through the development of an “above brand” vision and strategy. You will lead the development of a short and medium-term US breast cancer strategy, developed in partnership with the global and medical teams. This strategy will encompass potential synergies across assets as well as broad, disease-state opportunities that will support AstraZeneca’s leadership in breast cancer beyond the assets in our portfolio. In addition, you will work closely with the Insights & Analytics team to develop a single view of the evolving breast cancer landscape and perspective on the role of AZ’s breast cancer assets within that landscape. You will also partner closely with the US commercial leaders across breast cancer assets to ensure alignment from a strategic and execution perspective, both across headquarters and customer-facing teams. This will initially focus on the products currently promoted by the US breast cancer team and will expand to include future assets as an additional data readouts approach. You will report directly to the US Breast Cancer franchise head and serve as a key member of the franchise leadership team. Required: Bachelor's Degree in relevant field At least 7 years of oncology marketing, strategy, or related experience (US and/or global) Exhibit high capability at working collaboratively, thinking strategically Comprehensive understanding of US market and roles of customer-facing teams Preferred: MBA in a relevant field Experience in US marketing or strategy within Oncology Experience in Breast Cancer Experience in sales Why AstraZeneca? Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles).
