Description
Ready for a challenge? Then Just Eat Takeaway.com might be the place for you. We’re a leading global online food delivery platform, and our vision is to empower everyday convenience. Whether it’s a Friday-night feast, a post-gym poke bowl, or grabbing some groceries, our tech platform connects tens of millions of customers with hundreds of thousands of restaurant, grocery and convenience partners across the globe. About this role Join our global Marketing Science and Measurement team and play a crucial role in answering one of the most important questions in our business: "Is our marketing really working?" This role moves beyond standard attribution to measure the true, causal impact of our marketing investments. We are seeking a specialist who is passionate about incrementality, experimental design, and causal inference. You will work closely with the incrementality experts within the team and various marketing teams to design, execute, and analyse experiments that determine what would have happened anyway versus what our marketing caused to happen. This isn't a purely technical role. While you'll be data-driven, you must also be interested in the business itself, understanding the "why" behind the numbers and helping to shift the company's mindset from reporting metrics to measuring true incremental value. These are some of the key ingredients to the role: Experimental Design: Design and execute incrementality experiments, including conversion lift studies, geo-lift tests, and controlled A/B tests, to measure the causal effect of our marketing channels across the funnel. Causal Analysis: Apply statistical and econometric techniques to analyse test results, isolating the true lift from our campaigns and separating correlation from causation. Hypothesis Generation: Collaborate with Performance Marketing and Media teams to develop test-and-learn agendas, formulating hypotheses to improve, not just prove, the value of our marketing spend. Insight Translation & Storytelling: Translate complex statistical findings from causal inference models into clear, concise, and actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive action. Business Consultation: Act as a strategic partner to the marketing teams, helping them understand the incremental ROI of their activities and make data-driven decisions on budget allocation. Methodology Development: Improve the incrementality measurement framework by refining and establishing robust measurement methodologies, tools, and techniques across the organisation. What will you bring to the table? At least 2 years of experience in an analytical role, ideally with a background in paid search, performance marketing, marketing science, or media analysis. A strong, demonstrable experience and/or interest in marketing effectiveness measurement, conversion lift studies, incrementality, and the principles of causal inference. A big plus if you have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Econometrics, Statistics, Economics, or similar Experience with data manipulation and analysis using tools like SQL. Proficiency in a statistical programming language (Python or R) is a strong advantage. Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio). A commercial mind, curious about the 'why' behind the data, and passionate about connecting measurement to real business outcomes. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. A proactive, curious, and collaborative problem-solver attitude, who is comfortable in a fast-changing and dynamic environment. At JET, this is on the menu: Our teams forge connections internally and work with some of the best-known brands on the planet, giving us truly international impact in a dynamic environment.
