QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

  • A 3rd-level qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, PR, Event Management, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years’ proven experience in marketing, ideally within a B2B or technology-driven environment.
  • Strong track record in digital marketing, CRM, and communications with demonstrable results.
  • Proficiency with design software (Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere/Rush, or similar) and an eye for visual design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information into engaging content.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with experience interpreting data to optimise marketing activities.
  • Confident, professional, and personable, with the ability to influence and build collaborative relationships at all levels.
  • A proactive and creative problem-solver, capable of working independently and driving initiatives forward.

JOB PURPOSE

The Marketing Executive role at Farran Technology is offered on a 12-month contract and will be integral to supporting the company’s global growth vision. Farran is a leading provider of precision mmWave solutions, delivering systems, subsystems, and components from DC to 500 GHz to industries including Test & Measurement, 5G & 6G Wireless, ATE, Detection, Space, and Emerging Technologies.
This role sits at the heart of our efforts to strengthen the digital relevance of our brand, generate qualified leads for the sales team, and engage with our worldwide customer base. You will play a key role in planning and executing marketing strategies, leading day-to-day marketing activities, and supporting global campaigns across digital platforms, CRM, and international trade events.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, proactive self-starter with a proven ability to deliver results in a highly technical B2B environment. You will have the confidence to take ownership of the marketing function with minimal supervision, while also contributing to the longer-term development of our marketing strategy.
This position is available on a full-time basis but could also suit an experienced candidate seeking a 3-day week arrangement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage the marketing function in line with Farran’s business strategy, covering Advertising, Digital Marketing, and Strategic Planning.
  • Ensure consistent brand presence and positioning across all channels, digital and offline, to continuously attract and engage new customers.
  • Drive Farran’s digital presence through website management, social media strategy, SEO/SEM, and email campaigns.
  • Produce high-quality marketing assets including social media content (visual and written), videos, case studies, whitepapers, brochures, and other digital collateral.
  • Manage CRM activities, ensuring campaigns and communications are timely, relevant, and measurable.
  • Analyse, evaluate, and report on marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations based on KPIs and analytics.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Sales, Operations) to develop compelling, technically accurate content that promotes Farran’s expertise and solutions.
  • Support the organisation, coordination, and promotion of international trade events, exhibitions, and conferences.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation within the marketing function.
