MARKETING REPRESENTATIVE

Angel Hospice Corp is a growing hospice agency, providing end of life care with compassion. Our philosophy is built around respecting the patient and their wishes, providing each individual with the highest quality of life and maintaining patient dignity at end of life. Angel Hospice Corp services the greater Dallas and surrounding areas.
Angel Hospice is seeking a qualified Marketing/ Sales candidate, with a minimum of 2 year proven leadership and sales experience in marketing in Hospice and Palliative Care. The candidate will be responsible for planning and directing marketing/sales of company’s services through personal effort and through the cooperation of supportive team and management. The Marketing Representative assists in the direction and coordination of sales and marketing activities for the Agency for their assigned territory. Marketing Representative will be responsible for generating new sales and increasing referrals from existing referral accounts as well as meeting a monthly sales quota. He/she performs duties as outlined in the Job Description as well as the “Hospice Code of Ethics”. This position functions under the direction of the Director of Business Development.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for developing sales leads, promoting a positive company image in the community.
  • Responsible for developing and utilizing standard “proven” marketing methods while pursuing unique approaches that will help Hospice Agency stand out.
  • Making regular contact with established referral sources to elicit feedback, ensure satisfaction, and highlight additional service lines.
  • Evaluating leads for based on proximity, value, and potential to establish new referral sources.
  • Assisting in the generation of new leads, service line planning, and goal setting.
  • Documenting all encounters with referral sources in an accurate and detailed manner.
  • Prepares weekly reports for all sales and marketing activity for the Director of Business Development.
  • Keeps abreast of marketing efforts of the competition and reports to the Director of Business Development
  • Following written guidelines/instructions reliably.
  • Promotes an effective system of communication throughout the Agency and within the community.
  • Pledge to protect and promote the interests on all patients and their families.
  • Work with clinical leads, liaisons, and management to effectively promote hospice and services.
  • Develop contact list of referral sources.
  • Support and promote the philosophy, goals and objectives of the Hospice’s marketing and public relations programs and activities.

Top Candidates will possess:

  • Candidates will have a college degree and 1+ years of proven and successful sales and relationship building experience in the Hospice and Palliative Care field and will be responsible for generating hospice referrals in Dallas and surrounding cities.
  • An excellent understanding of sales principles.
  • Superior written/verbal communication skills, professional appearance, and conduct.
  • Motivation and drive to work independently and set goals with general supervision.
  • Keen interests in helping the Agency grow to serve more patients.
  • Prior experience in hospice sales is required.
  • Above average computer literacy.
  • Must have a good understanding of HIPAA laws and regulations related to patient privacy.
