Core to helping us realise this ambition, is our Marketing team and we are delighted to be recruiting for a creative Marketing Executive to join our passionate, driven and hard-working team in Leyland.
In this role, you’ll be supporting the delivery of our marketing campaigns across all 4 of our B2B brands. You will be working across a number of deliverables including full 360 marketing campaigns covering digital and offline platforms such as internal communications, social media, direct mail, trade press, point of sale, posters, online and events.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has junior marketing campaign experience or who completed a year in a marketing role as part of their degree before moving into their first marketing role after graduation.

Responsibilities

KEY TASKS:

  • Support the Marketing team to deliver activity to support wider brand campaigns including the creation of marketing collateral, social posts, POS materials, written copy and design briefs.
  • Create well-written, accurate and meaningful copy for agent-facing, customer-facing and internal communications.
  • Work with our in-house Design Team - briefing all activity in a timely and clear manner and working with the assigned Designer to ensure that appropriate designs are delivered on time.
  • Be responsible for all proofing throughout the creative stages and through to final approval and sign off by the Marketing Director.
  • Collaborate with our Partnerships Marketing colleagues to ensure Joint Venture marketing agreements are factored into all relevant activity.
  • Liaise with and communicate with our Commercial and Destination Product teams to understand current offers and pricing to use on communications activity.
  • Work closely with our Trade Partnerships Team to ensure materials are available to our Trade Partnerships Managers to nurture existing business and grow new relationships.
  • Report on weekly marketing activity and campaign performance.
  • Liaise with printers on the print and print-proofing process.
  • Working closely with the wider marketing team to drive growth across social media channels.
  • Align digital activity with over-arching brand campaigns and marketing content and create Umbraco pages and content to support these campaigns.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU NEED TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Over a year’s previous marketing experience.
  • An understanding of the principles of brand, marketing and advertising effectiveness
  • An understanding of the creative process
  • An understanding of core principles of digital marketing and social platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube
  • Awareness of other digital marketing channels and how they integrate with social media.
  • Experience using performance tools such as Facebook Analytics and Google Analytics
  • Excellent communication skills - a solid knowledge of English grammar and the ability to present ideas concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • Social media knowledge and management
  • Knowledge or an understanding of the travel industry is desirable but not essential.
