Responsibilities

YOUR NEW ROLE…

As a Marketing Executive at Warner Bros. Discovery you will be part of the local Benelux Marketing team based in Amsterdam. Key responsibility is to fully support the WBD marketing department. Involving development, planning, execution and administration of consumer, ad sales and affiliate marketing activities. You will work closely with the whole marketing team and support the marketing activities of all brands within the portfolio (Discovery, TLC, Investigation Discovery, Eurosport and discovery+).
As our affiliate partners success is our success, in this role there is an extra effort embedded to help and focus on these partners to drive effective marketing campaigns. The Marketing Executive will help drive these campaigns in collaboration with the distribution team for streaming (HBO Max/ discovery+) and linear brands.
This role is a 6 month fixed term contract covering maternity.

YOUR ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES…

  • Play a key role in the execution of on- and off-air consumer marketing activities on brand and campaign level: work closely with in- and external agencies and programming teams.
  • Executes local campaigns, helps develop campaign materials, produced by the internal creative department and media agencies, on design, development, asset list creation, production, and delivery.
  • Coordinate, initiates and executes trade marketing campaigns in collaboration with marketing and distribution teams.
  • Works closely and shares proactively content and marketing information with the linear, digital distribution team.
  • Works closely with the streaming marketing team on streaming distribution activities (HBO Max) to grow subscribers and overall awareness for the linear and streaming brands.
  • Liaison with our Distribution partners with critical understanding of their business objectives and building them.
  • Introducing and pitching on a frequent basis our newest tentpoles and uncovering creative opportunities for our affiliates allowing them to grow sales.
  • Responsible for monthly affiliate newsletter together with Marketing coordinator.
  • Executes and supports (ad hoc) portfolio marketing activities in close cooperation with the Marketing team.
