Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Marketing Manager this role’s primary focus is to manage the implementation of the company’s marketing initiatives for the Travelsphere brand to support the implementation of the marketing strategy to drive brand awareness and sales in an extremely competitive market.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Develop multi-channel communications plans for supporting the launch and promotion of all key products via all channels including but not limited to, direct marketing, advertising, email, social, partnerships.
  • Implement all assigned multi-channel marketing campaigns for the business brands to agreed brief and budget.
  • Brief creative concepts, ensuring artwork is supplied on time and correct to the campaign project
  • Ensure that all marketing creative has the brand tone of voice and is within brand guidelines.
  • Share communication and progress of marketing initiatives with the broader G Touring team.
  • Track expenditure against budget for each marketing campaign
  • Monitor market trends and analysing responses for all marketing campaigns and offer recommendations/proposals to improve future campaigns, based on learnings & ROI.
  • Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals identifying and executing improvements for processes and content.
  • Attend shows and events as required.
  • Work with external agencies as and when required.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Have experience in implementing integrated marketing and brand campaigns and have a significant track record of delivering marketing strategies.
  • Have executed and managed off-line and on-line campaigns
  • Be commercially savvy – and happy to analyse data from internal and external sources.
  • Have strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Be able to keep calm under pressure with a high degree of flexibility to meet the demands in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Be passionate about multi-channel marketing and producing content across multiple sales channels.
  • Take ownership for delivery of projects to time and quality.
  • Challenge the status quo and drive change and growth.
  • Ideally have experience in the travel industry.
