DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a marketing role (agency or in-house), in the hospitality and hotel industry.
  • Confident in designing PowerPoint and Canva materials
  • Website management and content creation
  • Creative and organised, with great presentation skills
  • Proactive, curious, and keen to learn within a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English — additional languages are a bonus
  • Able to commute to our beautiful Harrow offices 2–3 days per week and Ireland where required.
  • Knowledge of social platforms and their algorithms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok
  • A vibrant flair for content creation, specifically for social media, websites and collateral creation
  • The ability to work cross-functionally with different teams and brands to achieve shared objectives
  • A strategically-minded approach with the view to bring the social channels, websites and online third party sites to new heights!
  • Strong ability to work independently and be comfortable working within a dispersed team
  • Previous experience in a social media or marketing role, ideally within the hospitality or lifestyle sectors.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

As a Marketing Executive, reporting to the Group Sales and Marketing Director, you’ll support the Head Office commercial and on-site hotel teams’ function with website support and development, social media management, group event coordination and follow up, content creation to bespoke branded collateral.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • End-to-end organic social media management for JMK Group sites and individual Hotel sites within the group – including: content planning, content creation, community management, publishing and performance review
  • Regular content ideation and creation for the channels: from shooting Reels to creating graphics and sharing Stories
  • Writing appropriate and engaging copy for social media
  • Community management and engagement (not including customer service queries)
  • Working on various marketing projects outside of social, including PR activations and creating collateral for the individual hotels and JMK Group
  • Develop and execute targeted social media and marketing campaigns to create excitement and buzz around the opening of the restaurant and bar concept.
  • JMK Group website development, content management.
  • Brand website – keep content up to date adhering to brand guidelines
  • Third party site content management for Booking.com, Trip.com, Expedia etc..
  • Work closely with the General Managers to align marketing efforts with operational goals and deliver a cohesive brand stories as well as upsell opportunities to customers.
  • Drive loyalty schemes – JMK directly, brand loyalty – to support customer journey and growing market share
  • Co-ordinate and execute trade shows and partner events, including any follow up post show. Attend and support at shows and conferences where the business dictates.
  • Support the pre launch of any hotel openings, including website and social media creation, collateral, collaboration with any outsourced PR and Marketing Agency, plan and support hotel opening launch event.
  • Create collateral both virtual, online and physical copy for JMK Group and individual hotels. Support any Sales Blitz requirements.
  • Work with Sales/Revenue Managers to support SEO and Pay Per Click Campaigns – working with sites such as Koddi.
  • Research and complete any appropriate awards.
  • Attend any marketing training, webinars with brand and third parties, ensuring feedback is communicated to appropriate channels within the business.
  • Support Owners/Directors with any additional tasks and requests.
