JOB TITLE: Marketing Executive (Part Time)
LOCATION: Brighton
This role will be based predominantly at Pavilion Buildings, Brighton. Depending on their roles, our staff can be required to work on a range of different sites, including our main training centre, enrichment site, training cafés and employer’s premises.

JOB SUMMARY

Team Domenica is seeking a creative and organised Marketing Executive to join its Communications team on a four-month fixed-term contract, working 16 hours per week, primarily from its Brighton headquarters. Reporting to the Senior Communications Executive, this role supports the delivery of impactful, inclusive marketing across digital and print platforms.
The Marketing Executive will split their time between updating the website, and creating compelling content, including social media posts, newsletters, success stories, digital and print materials. The role involves capturing and producing high-quality multimedia content, using graphic design and video editing tools, and staying up to date with marketing trends. Key tools used may include Wordpress, WooCommerce, Mailchimp, Loomly, Canva, and Asana.
Ideal candidates will have strong copywriting and communication skills, creativity, attention to detail, and a working knowledge of various marketing platforms. Experience in hospitality, education, or the charity/SEND sectors is an advantage, as is familiarity with project management and content scheduling software.

EXPERIENCE

  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in hospitality marketing, with an awareness of charity, SEND and/or education sectors (desirable)
  • Understanding of website building and maintenance (Wordpress), including the management of an online shop (WooCommerce) (desirable)
  • Experience on project management and content scheduling tools such as: Mailchimp, Loomly and Asana (desirable)
  • Strong graphic design, photography and video editing skills, including an understanding of editing software such as Canva, DaVinci Resolve or similar (desirable)

QUALIFICATIONS

An undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field (desirable)

Responsibilities
  • Capture and collate high quality copy, photo and video content for all forms of print and digital media
  • Create and schedule impactful, creative and regular content for our social media, print projects, website, mailings, news, blogs, and success stories.
  • Keep up to date with trends, user insights and best practices.
  • Use graphic design skills to create digital and print materials, as needed.
  • Work with Senior Communications Executive to develop the website and publish updates.
  • Stay within budget and keep accurate records.
  • Work to make all communications as accessible as possible.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and wider team.
  • Contribute to the department’s reporting.
  • Use project management tools to organise your workload.
  • Stay flexible and adapt to the organisation’s needs.
