Description

As Business Unit Automotive & Speciality Lamps we support our vision and strategy by expanding our leading position in the automotive lighting market in OEM and Aftermarket. We are in a global leadership position in the automotive lamps business in traditional and LED applications and offer industry leading products in LED lighting to global OEM customers (e.g. with exchangeable LED light sources). We also tackle new growth opportunities in the Aftermarket with our automotive care and equipment portfolio.

Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

In conjunction with the Digital Content Manager develop and implement the ecommerce marketing strategy for both our B2C customers and on our own direct to consumer web sites.
Work with Sale Management to produce a planned calendar of content updates for customers and product launch content information, to deliver sell-out growth with our customers
Organise the exhibition schedule and take responsibility for planning the events and communicating with colleagues’ timings and schedules.
Organise photoshoots for new product launches and communicate finished material with colleagues in the UK and across OSRAM Europe.
Build our brand value with customers and consumers.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Deliver the brand positioning across ecom platform using the marketing content and product campaigns to raise brand awareness with the company’s key partners and Stakeholders.
  • Produce a planned timetable of content updates for key customers and ecmom platforms.
  • Develop and create product content for new product campaigns.
  • Develop good relations with customer partners to facilitate content and marketing materials being readily available on our customer platforms.
  • Plan out photography shoots for new product launches or additional product material requested by customers.
  • Liaise with our colleagues in OSRAM to deliver content and marketing material for the OSRAM brand.
  • Oganise our exhibition attendance. Complete the necessary paperwork and booking forms. Communicate with sales schedules and timings. Work with our designer our stand designs.
  • Attend exhibitions and if necessary be the stand manager during events.
  • Visit customers to improve understanding of what their requirements are and deliver customer support work.
  • Competitor and customer analysis to stay abreast and ahead of competitor activity.
  • Monitor consumer /customer reviews and develop testimonial activity where achievable with key customers.
  • Develop effective in-depth business relationships throughout the company to ensure all relative parties are involved through maintaining a high level of communication to the required individuals.
  • Ability to think strategically, and demonstrate a clear vision for the digital requirements of business.
  • Strong creative and innovation style, to maximise return on investment.
  • Experience of and an excellent understanding the diverse sales Channels Ring operate within.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build working relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent presentation skills on a personal, one to one and group level.
  • High level of organisational skills in regards to planning, preparation, execution and follow ups.
  • Proactive, positive, team player.
  • Very good commercial acumen.
  • Self motivator, able to operate remotely and upon own initiative.
