MARKETING EXECUTIVE

Location: Hybrid (regular travel to our head office in Telford is required, typically 2 days per week or 8 days per month. Please note: expenses are not reimbursed for commuting to the office).
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

We’re looking for a Marketing Executive to join our ambitious Marketing and Partnerships team. This is a varied and hands-on role where you’ll lead multi-channel campaigns, bring high-profile events to life, and help shape the digital presence of a well-respected brand in the transport, warehousing, and logistics industry.
You’ll be at the heart of everything from campaign planning and content creation to lead nurturing and event delivery – helping us reach the right people, with the right message, at the right time.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a B2B marketing role, ideally in logistics, safety, training, or education.
  • Proven experience in event marketing – either leading or heavily supporting campaigns for in-person and virtual events.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone across formats and audiences.
  • Track record of delivering end-to-end campaigns that achieve measurable results.
  • Confident using Hubspot, Wordpress, and Microsoft Office.
  • Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Passionate about safety, training and helping people perform their roles better and safer.

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with analytics tools and SEO.
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • CIM or DMI qualification.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns that support strategic goals and generate quality leads.
  • Develop and implement event marketing plans for RTITB’s event calendar – from our flagship Safety Summit and Training Awards to major trade shows and partner events.
  • Create compelling content for blogs, social media, email, and digital campaigns that brings our purpose to life.
  • Use Hubspot to manage workflows and email journeys that move leads through the funnel and build lasting engagement.
  • Keep our website up-to-date with timely, user-friendly content that’s optimised for engagement and conversion.
  • Track campaign performance and share insights to improve results and inform future strategy.
  • Use our audience personas to tailor messaging that resonates with our customers’ real-world needs.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints, reinforcing RTITB as a trusted industry voice.
  • Coordinate in-person and virtual event delivery, including venue logistics, catering, materials, and attendee communications.
  • Provide clear briefs and manage day-to-day relationships with our external marketing agency.
