EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a B2B marketing role, preferably in Defence or related industry.
  • Demonstrable experience in event management, digital marketing, lead generation, and campaign execution.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing strategies, including content marketing, CRM, and digital engagement.
  • Experience working with external agencies, design teams, and business development teams.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools including SalesForce, Shopify, WordPress, Google analytics, social media management platforms
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly proactive and results-driven Marketing Executive to join our Defence Marketing team in our RFD Beaufort Division. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated professional with a strategic mindset, who can work independently and take ownership of marketing initiatives that drive business growth, market penetration, and brand visibility.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Executive will play a pivotal role in planning and executing high-impact events, managing digital and social media channels, and developing marketing campaigns that support our Defence business objectives. You will need to be an independent thinker with strong commercial awareness, able to see the bigger picture and ensure all marketing efforts contribute to long-term strategic goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Event Management & Brand Activation
  • Independently plan, coordinate, and manage a programme of strategic events, including trade shows, exhibitions, product launches, and industry conferences.
  • Ensure events are aligned with growth targets, market expansion goals, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end event execution, working to support concept development and colleagues within the business development and account management teams to achieve stakeholder coordination, pre and post-event communications and achieve maximum value.
  • Measure and report on event ROI, tracking engagement, lead generation, and brand impact.
  • Work closely with the account management and business development teams to ensure events drive commercial success and enhance customer relationships.
