  • Experience in a Marketing role, with knowledge of marketing research methods and marketing best practices
  • Experience of working in a similar role in the film industry or entertainment would be beneficial.
  • A degree in marketing, advertising, communications or a similar relevant field is preferred
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Delta Groups Film & Entertainment team working as a Marketing Executive on site with one of our key film clients. This role reports both to the clients internal Marketing team and the Delta Group’s Client Services team.
This role will involve you getting involved in a broad range of film marketing activities working collaboratively with both the client and Delta teams ensuring that campaigns are researched, planned & delivered in line with service expectations.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Updating of marketing plan documents
  • Planning and reporting on Point Of Sale materials delivered to cinemas, including cinema site visits as required
  • Completing current trailer information
  • Monitoring cinema marketing activity, on and offline, at a local level for all UK Chains and Independents
  • Attending and contributing to Marketing and Company Weekly Meetings
  • Dealing with cinema enquiries concerning merchandise, Point Of Sale materials and competitions
  • Compiling film pitch decks – sourcing all information required including synopses, cast lists, box office takings where relevant and images
  • Compiling exhibitor marketing slides for inclusion in marketing decks – showcasing plans for upcoming film campaigns, with a focus on cinema related activity and promotions
  • Organising large scale POS to be built at the clients’ offices, events and at cinema sites
  • Compiling post opening reports on all campaigns
  • Development of exhibitor and promotional materials, working closely with the creative department
  • Producing artwork briefs outlining mandatory guidelines for exhibitors and partners to follow
  • Continually looking for other opportunities to develop the business and introduce further Delta Group services to the client
  • Suggesting opportunities to develop or improve campaigns
  • Attending and contributing to creative review discussions
  • Downloading and providing all exhibitors and partners with official artwork
  • Looking for thematic links with films that can aid in pitching partnership opportunities to exhibitors
  • Sourcing and negotiating prizes from third parties
  • Liaising and briefing prize agencies to source the best value packages for exhibitor campaigns
  • Ordering, monitoring and dispatching promotional merchandise items
  • Placement of promotional merchandise and prize packages with exhibitor partners
  • Arranging screenings which can include: Booking sites, ticketing, managing catering, print delivery, security, sourcing goody bags etc.
