Description POSITION TITLE: Marketing Coordinator DEPARTMENT: Marketing POSITION FUNCTION Under the general supervision of the EVP of Operations, assists in the development and implementation of all marketing/public relations functions for the Credit Union. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Monitors monthly media schedule and place ads with the various media outlets. Maintains and files all printed materials and master copies, including newspaper ads, brochures, statement stuffers, newsletters, etc. Coordinates the printing of all marketing pieces including newsletters, statement stuffers, direct mail and trade shows. Coordinates the advertising promotions, campaigns, special events and public relations efforts, including preparing and mailing invitations for special events, catering, decorating, flowers, and taking pictures during the event. Responsible for the ongoing mailings to the membership and community including quarterly newsletter, Member Birthday e-mails and Sid Saver birthday cards. Coordinates the scheduling of staff at special events such as the Home Show and the Chamber Business Expo. Coordinate Sid Saver program school visits and yearly “Open House” visits. Designs weekly communication to employees through the employee link and provides employees with information as needed. Disperses marketing items needed from Branches after receiving the Marketing Supply form Inventories promotional items. Assists in the planning and development of the Credit Union’s marketing plan and provides feedback on changes to the marketplace and the industry to adjust marketing plans accordingly. Assists with all marketing functions as assigned. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains a required level of quality and quantity of work. Works within procedural limits of position. Assists in all areas of the department as needed. Continues education when necessary. Continues to acquire the necessary education to maintain knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations to ensure compliance. Ensures credit union confidentiality. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Hand dexterity required to operate computer terminal and/or related equipment. Eye coordination required to operate computer/teller terminal. Sitting at desk or computer workstation for periods of time. Travels to Credit Union facilities/locations as required. Moves around credit union between levels or floors while performing duties. Bending and stretching in work area. This position description covers the more prominent duties performed and is not limited to other work duties that may be assigned.
