MARKETING FALL CO-OP (TECH START-UP/SOCIAL HEALTH) JOB DESCRIPTION:

We’re looking for a creative and driven 3rd or 4th-year student in a business, marketing, or STEM-related program to join Goodself, a fast-growing health and wellness social media platform. This co-op offers hands-on experience in business development, influencer marketing, community engagement, and content strategy as we scale our platform globally. You’ll play a key role in helping shape and launch campaigns, build partnerships, and grow a mission-driven brand focused on credible, engaging health and lifestyle content.

Responsibilities
  • A student currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution.
  • Classifying and reaching out to Influencers in the Health, Wellness and Lifestyle space.
  • Creating and maintaining relationships with influencers and Experts for a sustained connection with the community.
  • Writing and developing communication materials used for talent acquisition.
  • Working collaboratively with the Marketing and Communications team and other teams to develop campaigns and other initiatives.
  • Helping to create and implement a launch strategy for a social media platform centered around Health, Wellness and Lifestyle.
  • Working with flexibility: providing input on the adoption of new procedures, protocols, and marketing strategies.
  • Content moderation and community building on the platform.
  • Addressing and identifying key, niche demographics at launch, and tracking analytics to coordinate an optimal roll-out.
  • Communicating clearly and effectively with all members of our team
