REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Transportation Specialist, Transportation Administrator, or a similar role in the Logistics department
• Complete knowledge of the industry rules, regulations, and logistics procedures
• Familiarity with logistics software such as Oracle NetSuite ERP, Dataman ERP, and Infor WMS
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

• Scheduling timely transportation services
• Allocating Drivers for various transportation services such as pickups and deliveries
• Explaining and negotiating contract terms with drivers and other vendors
• Generating and processing transportation documents and invoices
• Keeping a track of the transportation budget and expenses
• Examining driver logbook entries
• Developing and implementing transportation policies and procedures
• Recruiting and overseeing the performance of the transportation stuff
• Addressing customer queries and complaints and reverting the urgent ones to the Transportation Manager
• Coordinating with the Transportation Manager to optimize transportation services
• Ensuring compliance with the industry regulations and requirements
