Description

MARKETING GRAPHIC DESIGNER & CONTENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Full-Time | Marketing Department | Sioux Falls, SD
The Washington Pavilion is seeking a Graphic Designer & Content Support Specialist to join our creative Marketing team. This is a design-forward role focused on producing visually compelling, brand-aligned materials for a wide range of Washington Pavilion entities, including the Kirby Science Discovery Center, Visual Arts Center, The Orpheum Theater Center, Spotlight Theater Company, Alcove, The Lodge, 3eEncore, Art Consulting and the Lallycooler Music Festival.
In this role, you’ll bring ideas to life across print, digital, signage, and campaign assets. On any given day, you might be creating a poster for a Broadway show, producing graphics for a social campaign, designing large-scale signage, or polishing copy for membership promotions. While your main focus will be design, you’ll also contribute to light content support such as writing headlines, editing short-form copy, and ensuring text and visuals flow together seamlessly.
The ideal candidate is a highly skilled designer with strong technical ability, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, creative environment.

PHYSICAL & SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to walk, climb stairs, bend, and reach across various Pavilion locations.
  • Occasionally lift and move materials up to 30 lbs.
  • May require occasional evening or weekend hours for events.
