The internship is a structured work-based program, affording unemployed graduates work experience in our company. The successful applicants will enter into a 12-month fixed term Internship agreement (not an employment contract) with the company and receive a stipend. Job Description The successful candidate must be self-motivated with a passion for Design. This person must be able to function well in a diverse team. The successful candidate must be able to multitask, prioritise and be able to work under pressure. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Working with the Creative Leads/Designers to conceptualise and execute creative campaigns that are fresh, distinctive and effective. Crafting design across a wide range of media elements which meet the company’s internal and external communications needs. Including digital and traditional mediums. Responsible for implementation and consistent use of corporate ID across all executions. Constantly strive to understand the company better in order to develop more relevant and effective strategies, concepts and executions. Skills and Competencies: Vision and initiative – thinking out of the box Excellent problem-solving skills Excellent administration & organisational skills Excellent interpersonal skills Dynamic Professional and self-disciplined Stress tolerant Customer service orientated Deadline and results driven Attention to detail and high design standards NB Ability to work on multiple campaigns/projects at the same time. Needs to be open to working after hours to meet deadline if required. Presentation skills Qualifications Diploma or higher in Communication design or a similar creative field. Experience with: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Advantageous: HTML coding and After Effects experience an advantage Additional Information Enthusiastic in dealing with people in a stressful, deadline orientated environment is essential. Must be willing to travel locally when required and have valid driver’s license.
