Responsibilities
  • Develop/maintain a deep understanding of our current categories and lines of product – Footcare, First Aid, Acne and Depilatories – to continuously lead the Business in optimizing our existing product mix and capitalize on new product opportunities in a timely manner that maximizes business growth.
  • Maintain a high-level of awareness and understanding of related products offerings and new product news from PL and National Brands to quickly match or beat competitive offerings.
  • Research and understand other related OTC categories and make strategic recommendations that could profitably grow our business. Collaborate with Marketing colleagues, Sales and other cross functional team members to identify white space and ideate new product ideas.
  • Manage market intelligence to identify and filter potential new products (e.g. category analysis, NB/competitive product review, consumer reviews)
  • Write New Item Briefs, create and manage project timelines to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met.
  • Assist Sales with NPD sell-in including Sell Sheets, marketing collateral, on-going customer requests, timeline coordination, volume estimates and pricing. Support on-going RFP’s.
  • Partner w Project Management to communicate with Vendors to help develop best product mix, manage formula functional performance/sensory profiles and optimize profitability.
  • Create and maintain detailed spec sheets for each SKU in development
  • Collaborate with Project Management and Regulatory to map out/improve timelines, optimize formulations and packaging
  • Work closely with our internal Art department to issue preliminary product copy, mockup requests, and design direction
  • Manage project status updates on the Master New Product Development spreadsheet
  • Organize & maintain available competitive product samples

    Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
