Reporting to the Marketing Lead – Ireland, this position is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain experience in marketing activities within a global pharmaceutical company, supporting the marketing team with research, planning, and administrative tasks during an 11-week summer placement. This includes providing general support to the Marketing team, assisting with the coordination of a corporate social responsibility (CSR) event, and providing support to Key Account Managers in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research healthcare professionals (e.g. hematologists) from public sources such as health board and hospital websites
• Assist with planning and logistics for a CSR event (e.g. liaising with venues, coordinating suppliers, preparing materials)
• Support Key Account Managers on the road by preparing materials, and assisting with follow-up tasks
• Help maintain and organise CRM/contact database entries
• Carry out general marketing and administrative duties as required
• Participate in team meetings and support communication between marketing and sales teams

Skills and Qualifications:

• Completing a 3rd level qualification in a related discipline.
• Strong administration skills including MS Excel, Powerpoint
• Strong internet research and data-gathering skills
• Excellent communications skills - verbal, written and presentation.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good time management skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential.
• Attention to detail is a prerequisite for anyone wishing to be successful in this role.
• A desire to follow through and see tasks through is key.
• Needs to be a team player, proactive and flexible with a strong desire to develop further.
