Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Marketing Intern to support our busy events calendar, with a particular focus on careers fairs and law fairs. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in events, social media, and employer branding to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced marketing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in organising and delivering presence at law and careers fairs and student events across the UK, including packing up, posting, setting up displays, distributing promotional materials and briefing members of the team on logistical information
  • Travel several times a week across locations in the UK to represent the organisation at events and fairs, engaging confidently with students, answering queries about their legal qualification pathways, capturing their data and gathering their feedback
  • Help produce and repurpose social media content (photos, videos, polls, student Q&As, reels/stories) before, during and after events to help promote BARBRI’s presence and boost student engagement
  • Support with the creation of event materials, such as flyers, slide decks, banners and social content; this involves liaising with internal and external stakeholders, mainly with an outside design agency
  • Help track and manage inventory levels of merchandise, potentially including tasks such as organising, distributing and ensuring accurate stock counts
  • Attend and support online and in-person events, helping with tech, lead capture and brand representation
  • Adapt PowerPoint presentations to branding guidelines
  • Adapt digital and print poster templates within Canva
  • Help maintain accurate records of event performance and attendee feedback
  • Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions to come up with ideas, suggestions or improvements
  • Providing general administrative support to the marketing team, including data entry, report preparation and communication
