Description Summary: The Marketing Internship at Catalyst Construction provides relevant experience for students pursuing a degree in Business Marketing or Graphic Design. Our program provides a realistic view of what it’s like to work in the Marketing field through hands-on experience from designing and social media to market research and analytics– our interns assume a wide variety of responsibilities during their time at Catalyst. This is a full time, onsite position located in Milwaukee, WI. Responsibilities/Duties: Assist and monitor content on our website and social media for trending news, ideas and feedback Perform market analysis and research on the latest trends within our industry Contribute to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content, including copy writing Help with the planning and attendance of various company and client related events Support the Director of Sales and Marketing and Marketing Team with admin tasks as needed Carry out research on a wide variety of companies and contacts across the sector Prepare documents and proposals to send to potential clients Attend meetings and trainings as assigned Complete projects as assigned Requirements High School diploma or GED equivalent is required Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on project need/demand Pursuing a degree in Business Marketing or Graphic Design is preferred, but not required Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), InDesign and other CMS software High level of confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with Owners/Clients Regularly required to move, sit, and bend for various hours throughout the day Occasionally may need to travel and visit sites in inclement weather Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Interns will assist with content monitoring on the website and social media, perform market analysis, and contribute to the creation of marketing materials. They will also support the marketing team with administrative tasks and attend meetings and trainings as assigned.
