Marketing Intern
Location: Eastleigh, Hampshire
Contract: Internship (Fixed-term)
Salary: £24,309 (Band 1)
Full-time, hybrid working

About the Internship
Looking to kick start your career in marketing? Join Eastleigh Borough Council as a Marketing Intern and gain hands-on experience delivering exciting campaigns, social media content, and community events that make a real difference.
You will support the promotion of our housing brand, Eastbrooke Homes.
What you will get stuck into:
Creating and scheduling engaging social media content
Updating websites and learning the basics of Search Engine Optimisation and content design.
Assisting with event logistics, promotions, and reporting.
Supporting email marketing and internal campaigns.
Drafting copy, conducting research, and working with creative assets.
Learning how to track data and use analytics to improve content.
We are looking for:
An enthusiastic communicator with an interest in marketing or public relations.
Someone organised, creative, and curious to learn.
A team player who is not afraid to bring ideas to the table.
Someone enthusiastic about digital who enjoys writing, design, or working with social media.
No formal experience needed—just a willingness to grow.
