Description This is a part-time temporary role with the potential for conversion to a permanent position based on business need. POSITION SUMMARY The Marketing Intern supports Providien Thermoforming's brand presence and marketing operations under the direction of the Director of Sales & Marketing. This role provides hands-on experience in brand development, digital marketing, and marketing collateral production for a growing precision manufacturing company. The intern will contribute to projects that strengthen how Providien presents itself to customers, prospects, and the broader market. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assist in updating and improving website content, layout, and messaging to reflect current capabilities and brand standards. Support the development of marketing collateral including product sheets, capability brochures, presentations, and trade show materials. Create and edit digital and print assets using design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. Help maintain brand consistency across all customer-facing materials and communications. Conduct competitive research and market analysis to inform messaging and positioning. Draft copy for marketing materials, email campaigns, and social media content (LinkedIn, company website). Capture original photography and video content showcasing facilities, products, processes, and team for use across marketing channels. Assist with updating and organizing the marketing asset library including photos, logos, templates, and brand guidelines. Coordinate with sales and operations teams to gather input for customer-facing materials. Track and report on basic marketing metrics such as website traffic, content engagement, and campaign performance. *Other duties as required in support of the department and the company* SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES The responsibilities of this role do not include supervising other employees. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, or a related field. Completion of at least two years of undergraduate coursework. Strong written communication skills with attention to detail and brand voice. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with particular strength in PowerPoint or other presentation platforms (e.g., Google Slides, Canva Presentations). Basic familiarity with design tools such as Canva, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior internship or project experience in marketing, branding, or communications. Experience with website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace, or similar). Familiarity with B2B marketing concepts or exposure to a manufacturing or industrial environment. Hands-on photography experience, including comfort operating a DSLR or mirrorless camera; photo editing skills (Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar) a plus. Working knowledge of Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools. PHYSICAL DEMANDS As part of their job duties, the employee must sit for lengthy periods while operating a computer. They frequently use their hands to type, handle objects, and communicate verbally. Additionally, they may need to stand, walk, reach, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to twenty (20) pounds. This role requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, reaching at or below shoulder level, and keyboarding. Hearing protection in specific locations. Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas. TRAVEL Travel is not required for this position. SALARY INFORMATION: According to several states' laws, this position's salary range falls between $18 and $22 hourly. However, this salary information is merely a general guideline.
