About The Role As a Marketing Intern, you will support the marketing department across a range of digital and social media initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment. This paid, hourly, full-time role is ideal for someone early in their marketing career who wants to apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to help execute campaigns, create content, and support day-to-day communications efforts that enhance brand awareness and engagement. What You'll Do Assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Support social media marketing efforts by drafting, scheduling, and publishing content on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter). Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity. Conduct basic market and competitor research to inform campaign strategies and content ideas. Gather and organize performance data from digital and social campaigns, helping to prepare simple reports and insights. Collaborate with team members to develop marketing materials, including email copy, social posts, and basic visuals or briefs for the design team. Assist with internal and external communications, ensuring messages are clear, on-brand, and delivered on schedule. Support the coordination and promotion of marketing initiatives, events, and other departmental activities as needed. Stay up to date with digital marketing and social media trends, suggesting new ideas to improve engagement and reach. Perform general administrative and project support tasks for the Marketing department as assigned. Qualifications Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an undergraduate program in Marketing, Communications, or a closely related field. Up to 1 year of relevant experience through internships, part-time roles, or academic projects in marketing or communications. Foundational knowledge of digital marketing principles and channels (e.g., social media, email, web, content). Basic familiarity with social media marketing best practices and major platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter). Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt tone and style to different audiences. Comfortable creating, editing, and proofreading marketing and social media content with attention to detail. Ability to use standard office and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, and basic project management tools). Organized and able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated, eager to learn, and receptive to feedback and coaching from more experienced team members. Eligibility to work full-time in an hourly, paid internship position for the duration of the internship term.
