Role Overview The Marketing Intern supports the Adoption & Operations Team by creating clear, professional, and credible communication materials that help elected officials, staff, and the general public understand and engage with the digital transformation initiative. This role focuses on institutional communications, enablement materials, executive presentations, and controlled public-facing content, rather than commercial or promotional marketing. The Marketing Intern helps translate complex workflows, system updates, and rollout milestones into simple, visually clear, and institutionally appropriate materials. Key Responsibilities Communications & Presentation Support Design presentation decks for briefings with House leadership, committees, and senior staff Assist in translating technical or operational concepts into clear visual narratives Support preparation of materials used in executive meetings and stakeholder updates Adoption & Enablement Materials Create simple, easy-to-follow materials to support onboarding and use, such as: One-page guides How-to visuals Quick reference sheets Short instructional graphics or videos Adapt materials for different audiences (elected officials vs staff) Social Media & Public-Facing Communications Assist in maintaining and updating official social media accounts related to the initiative Create clear, professional, and restrained visual content for approved public posts Support dissemination of leadership-approved announcements, milestones, and highlights Ensure all public-facing content aligns with institutional tone, messaging, and approvals Coordinate with the Rollout & Operations Lead before publishing any content Note: This role supports informational and awareness content only. All posts must follow approved messaging and institutional guidelines. Visual Consistency & Messaging Help maintain consistent visual style and tone across all materials Ensure communications remain professional, restrained, and aligned with institutional standards Update materials based on feedback from rollout and live usage Collaboration & Iteration Work closely with: Change & Adoption Analysts Rollout & Operations Lead Incorporate feedback from field activities to improve clarity and usefulness of materials Support rapid iteration as workflows and practices evolve Required Qualifications Strong ability to communicate ideas clearly through visual and written materials Proficiency in common presentation and design tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent) Basic familiarity with social media platforms and content creation Attention to detail and appreciation for professional standards Willingness to work in a formal institutional environment Willingness to work onsite as required Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Experience managing or contributing to social media accounts for organizations or institutions Experience creating presentation decks or instructional materials Familiarity with public sector, government, or institutional communications Interest in digital transformation or public service Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communication, Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, Journalism, or related fields What Youll Gain Exposure to a national-level legislative digital transformation initiative Experience supporting both internal adoption and controlled public communications Hands-on experience working with senior stakeholders and leadership-facing materials Opportunity to build a portfolio of executive-ready and public-facing content Mentorship within a structured, high-impact public sector program Engagement Type: 6-month Internship Work Setup: Hybrid (onsite at least once a week; additional onsite as required)Work Location: House of Representatives / Pasig Office (as needed)
