Description:

As a marketing intern for the Regulatory Compliance division of Science Group, you will support the Marketing team for Leatherhead Food Research and TSG Consulting. We work with clients worldwide, from multinational corporations to start-ups, across a wide range of industries including food & beverage (Leatherhead Food Research), and disinfectants, industrial products, and crop protection (TSG Consulting).
You will be actively involved in the planning and execution of marketing activities, with a strong focus on content creation and editing. Your passion for writing will be crucial as you craft compelling content for various platforms and ensure all communications are of the highest standard. By interviewing consultants, you will create blogs and thought leadership pieces that position us as industry leaders. Additionally, you will generate content to drive bookings for our training courses and write advisories to keep clients informed about regulatory changes, ensuring their products remain compliant.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Ideally working towards a Degree in Journalism, Creative Writing or related field
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with keen interest in content writing and editing
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills
  • Ability to prioritise and respect timelines
  • Impeccable attention to detail. Accuracy is essential
  • Familiarity with standard computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Practical experience with Canva or InDesign is a big advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Write engaging and persuasive content for email, web, social, newsletters and other communications
  • Review key presentations to ensure they are produced to a high standard and consistent with branding guidelines
  • Support ongoing marketing campaigns, including the planning and execution of events, ensuring all activities are delivered on time and within budget
  • Create and launch email marketing campaigns using tools including Salesforce and Campaigner
  • Help develop digital content strategies and design assets for organic and paid social media
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis and reporting on all email marketing and social media campaigns to maximize results
  • Provide general marketing support including maintaining the database of images and videos, and ordering business cards, branded merchandise and other collateral
