THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Lead to join our dynamic marketing team, specifically focusing on the exciting and rapidly growing Ebury Sports Finance vertical. This is a mid-level role for a commercially-minded marketer with a proven track record in financial services and a passion for the sports industry.
You will play a pivotal role in driving awareness, engagement, and lead generation for our Sports Finance offerings, leveraging your expertise to execute comprehensive marketing strategies. A key aspect of this role will be to maximise the impact of Ebury’s existing and future sports marketing assets, ensuring they are effectively utilised across all marketing channels.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role, with a strong emphasis on financial services and/or the sports industry. Experience in sports finance is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and best practices (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content.
  • Experience in leveraging and maximizing the value of sports marketing assets (sponsorships, partnerships, etc.).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and CRM systems is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Responsibilities
  • Asset Maximisation:


    • Strategically leverage Ebury’s existing sports marketing assets (e.g., sponsorship rights, VIP experiences, event partnerships) to create engaging content, campaigns, and PR opportunities.

    • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent brand messaging and maximum exposure from these assets.
    • Identify opportunities to develop new assets that align with Sports Finance marketing goals.
    • Brand Execution Ebury Sports Finance:


      • Execute bespoke and defined brand execution strategy and embed Ebury Sports Finance Products into our communication channels

      • Content & Communications:


        • Manage the creation and distribution of high-quality, engaging content tailored for the sports finance audience (e.g.,Club and player content, promotional footage, case studies, social media content, email campaigns).

        • Oversee website content and landing page optimisation for Ebury Sports Finance
        • Social Media Marketing:


          • Manage and optimise social marketing channels, including LinkedIn showcase page, to drive traffic and conversions.

          • Analyse campaign performance for organic and paid initiatives, identify trends, and implement data-driven reportings.
          • Activation & Events:
          • Activate in-person sponsorship rights and execute these regionally
          • Support the planning and execution of Sports events with the club, partners, conferences, and webinars relevant to sports finance.
          • Identify PR opportunities and work with the PR team to secure media coverage.
          • Reporting & Analysis:
          • Track, analyse, and report on key marketing KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
          • Report regularly on measurable commercial impact to Executive Management
          • Manage marketing budget for the Sports Finance vertical
