Position Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Marketing Lead to drive our growth from the ground up. This is a foundational role for a data-driven marketer who is excited by the challenge of building a brand and scaling a B2C company. You will be responsible for developing and executing a full-funnel marketing strategy, from acquisition to retention, and will have a direct impact on our success.
This role is for a doer—someone who is as comfortable building a paid search campaign as they are analyzing customer data or sketching out a new user onboarding flow. If you are a strategic thinker with a bias for action and a passion for early-stage startups, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
Develop & Execute Growth Strategy: Own the 12-month marketing plan, focusing on customer acquisition through paid search, social media, influencer marketing, and partnerships.
Full-Funnel Management: Optimize the entire customer journey, from awareness and activation to retention and monetization, using data to drive decisions.
Performance Marketing: Manage and scale paid channels, with a focus on optimizing CAC and LTV to meet revenue goals.
Brand & Content: Shape the StoryKeeper brand narrative and drive thought leadership through PR, content marketing, and founder-led storytelling.
Data & Analytics: Establish our marketing analytics stack (GA4, etc.), define key metrics, and create a culture of data-informed decision-making.
Experimentation: Build and manage a backlog of growth experiments, using the ICE framework to prioritize and iterate quickly.
Who You Are
Experienced Growth Marketer: You have experience in B2C marketing, ideally within an e-commerce environment.
Startup Mindset: You have a proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced environment. You are a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity.
Hands-On & Tactical: You are not afraid to get your hands dirty. You can personally execute campaigns, analyze the data, and iterate based on performance.
Data-First: You have a strong analytical mindset and are proficient with modern marketing analytics tools. You use data to answer questions and drive strategy.
Full-Funnel Thinker: You understand how to connect brand, performance, and product-led growth into a cohesive strategy.
Specifics:
Paid Social & Influencer Growth: Direct our paid social strategy on Meta and TikTok, analyzing performance and guiding technical contractors to optimize campaigns. You will lead the creative process for all new ad content, from concept to final deliverable.
Content & Community Strategy: Build and scale our influencer and User-Generated Content (UGC) programs to create a powerful engine for authentic, high-performing creative.
Affiliate Program Launch: Design, launch, and manage StoryKeeper’s first affiliate program to build a new, scalable revenue channel.
