POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a growing company, 100 Ways is looking for a growth-minded professional with experience in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive sales and brand awareness through various marketing opportunities. Regular reporting and evaluation of strategy and key performance indicators to help inform the evolving marketing strategy will be a focus of this position.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing an annual marketing strategy and budget for our growing fine jewelry brand. Overseeing our small team of marketing professionals to promote on-brand messaging to new and returning customers across multiple outlets including but not limited to website, e-mail, third party channels, paid advertisements and social media with the goal of driving revenue and supporting company goals.
This role will involve managing and mentoring a team, as well as collaborating with external partners to ensure that all marketing efforts are aligned with company’s goals. You will work closely with Client Care + Product Teams to ensure all marketing efforts are effectively integrated with the selling and product development workflows for the company.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or related major and 4 years experience in the sales, marketing, digital or related professional area; e-commerce marketing or digital advertising experience preferred

OR

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or related major e-commerce marketing or digital advertising experience.

Preference to be given to candidates with experience in Shopify and/or Jewellery.

Responsibilities:

Budget + Strategy

  • Develops and executes the overarching marketing strategy from marketing plans and calendars to budgets that align with business priorities, with support and consultation of the Leadership team.
  • Track and report on key metrics such as traffic, conversion rates, and campaign ROI to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust marketing strategy to respond to performance and trends.
  • Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to optimize marketing spend.
  • Oversee strategy for key marketing activities including paid advertising, e-mail marketing, social media and SEO.
  • Evaluate and prioritize growth opportunities ranging from partnerships and affiliate marketing, and local activations
  • Researching ways to penetrate new markets and keep up-to-date with best practices, strategies and latest trends in digital marketing.

Campaign + Brand Development

  • Oversee the planning and execution of all marketing initiatives, campaigns and projects.
  • Leads, owns and directs asset development, including brand collateral, photoshoots, etc.
  • Provide creative oversight to ensure consistent brand voice and visual presence.
  • Manage and optimize ecommerce channels such as website, social media, email, and paid advertising.
  • Contribute to development of visual assets for campaigns and evergreen brand marketing.

People Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the marketing team, to achieve departmental goals, improving productivity and performance evaluations.
  • Manage contract teams to ensure efforts align with the overall marketing strategy and budget.

Inter-Department Optimization

  • Measure and communicate success of campaigns and digital performance using relevant reports tools to leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product, sales, and customer experience to align marketing efforts with business goals, ensure product workflow informs sales strategies and to ensure brand standards are consistently being adhered to.

Other

  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all marketing activities.
  • Additional tasks and projects as required.
