Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING…

In 2025, we hope to establish ourselves as the leading QAT (Quality Assurance and Testing) partner in the UK. Our marketing strategy is fundamental to making this happen. Your role as Marketing Manager will involve working closely with our fractional CMO, senior leadership team, and external agencies (PR and web) to execute our carefully crafted 2i marketing strategy. You’ll manage a small team of two to deliver marketing activities across our core channels whilst having the support and mentorship of our CMO. This role requires hands-on execution to manage the day-to-day marketing planning and operations to ensure all activities align with our strategic goals.

The marketing strategy has specifically been designed to accelerate 2i’s growth trajectory, built on the following pillars:

  • Strategic market expansion
  • Enhanced brand positioning
  • Data-driven lead generation
  • Technology foundation
  • Multi-channel engagement strategy
  • Partnership ecosystem development

With a goal of achieving £100million+ in revenue for 2026-2028, our marketing strategy will establish 2i as a trusted brand, generate high-quality leads for sales conversion and build a scalable foundation for long-term growth.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES…

  • Execute the marketing plan as developed with the fractional CMO and senior leadership
  • Manage, mentor and grow the marketing team – currently made up of a Digital Content Specialist and Marketing Executive
  • Coordinate with external agencies (PR, SEO, web) to ensure aligned delivery
  • Be a brand ambassador for 2i, ensuring high-quality assets and messaging in line with our communication strategy
  • Own and optimise key marketing assets including the website UX, email campaigns, and social channels
  • Oversee digital advertising campaigns across platforms including Google PPC, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels
  • Work with our PR agency to amplify our thought leadership content for target personas
  • Plan and manage event participation, from logistics to execution
  • Conduct ongoing competitor analysis to identify market opportunities
  • Review all marketing materials for quality, consistency, and effectiveness
  • Report on marketing performance metrics to senior stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Budget management – managing marketing budgets and allocating resources effectively
