Our role as the Bank of New Zealand is to help navigate New Zealand towards a better future. We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join the team responsible for the development and delivery of integrated marketing communications to drive better customer outcomes and ultimately deliver a strong return on marketing investment.

What are some day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?

  • Understanding the behaviours, journeys and channels of key audiences to design, develop & deliver marketing communications to achieve business outcomes
  • Project managing campaigns and initiatives in paid, owned and earned channels, ensuring delivery on time and budget
  • Utilising data, measurement and the optimisation of activity for continuous improvement
  • Working as part of a high-performance team, leaning into creativity and challenges and proactively identifying opportunities and experimentation to improve
  • Developing strong and trusted relationships with our BNZ team and agency partners

What will success look like for the candidate in this role?
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a passion for creativity and fostering strong collaboration with colleagues and partners. Stakeholder management will be a strength, and you will need to have exceptional interpersonal skills.
What attributes will this person display to be successful in this role?
A deep understanding of key channel, audience and media strategy, identifying marketing opportunities and contributing to the development of exceptional TTL marketing campaigns to build deeper connections with our customers.

You will also have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Marketing and Communications
  • Proven project and campaign management experience, specifically in the project delivery and stakeholder management of campaign initiatives to market
  • Experience working with external creative, media, and event agencies and suppliers to deliver integrated and effective marketing communications
  • You’ll be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively as part of team, as well as work autonomously when appropriate
