Our role as the Bank of New Zealand is to help navigate New Zealand towards a better future. In Marketing we are truly customer obsessed, designing, and delivering distinctive propositions campaigns and experiences that create better customer outcomes.
This role works with colleagues and agency partners to develop and deliver exceptional Marketing communications activity to drive better customer outcomes and deliver a strong return on marketing investment.
This role will support the home lending, deposits and wealth marketing team through banker enablement, implementing marketing communications and development initiatives which support frontline banking teams to be successful, strengthening customer relationships and driving growth.
You can’t go wrong with 6 weeks annual leave! We promote flexible working to create a good work and life balance. BNZ has a dress for the day policy, yes we are a bank but we don’t all have to dress like a banker, smart casual to fully suited up, it’s up to your judgement.

What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?
Building a deep understanding of key channel, audience and media strategy, identifying marketing opportunities and contributing to the development of exceptional TTL marketing campaigns and activations to drive growth and build deeper connections with our customers.
What will success look like for the candidate in this role?
A self-starter with a real passion for developing customer centric marketing communications. Stakeholder management will be a strength, and you will need to have exceptional interpersonal skills. You’ll be a confident problem solver and have strong experience in integrated marketing campaign management.
What is the most challenging thing about this opportunity?
We’re often managing multiple priorities, stakeholder expectations and conflicting deadlines so you’ll need to be able to juggle all of this while also not losing sight of the finer details.
