The Marketing Manager is responsible for designing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that drive new business, strengthen customer retention, and build a unified brand identity across multiple HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical companies under the Holdco umbrella. This role balances creative strategy with data-driven execution, ensuring that each local brand grows while supporting the larger corporate vision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Strategic Planning & Brand Management

  • Develop and execute an annual marketing plan aligned with Holdco growth objectives.
  • Ensure consistent branding across multiple companies, divisions, and geographic locations.
  • Position the Holdco and its subsidiaries as trusted providers within local communities.
  • Oversee design and distribution of print, digital, and branded collateral for field, sales, and customer use.

Lead Generation & Digital Marketing

  • Manage paid advertising campaigns (Google, Meta, local media) to generate qualified leads for service and installation.
  • Optimize websites, SEO, and local listings for each company to maximize search visibility and customer engagement.
  • Create and manage email campaigns, promotions, and seasonal offers tailored to residential and commercial customers.
  • Track ROI of digital campaigns, adjusting strategies to maximize revenue per lead.

Community Engagement & Events

  • Plan and coordinate sponsorships, home shows, trade expos, charity partnerships, and local events that support each subsidiary’s presence.
  • Strengthen relationships with chambers of commerce, local associations, and industry partners.
  • Manage customer loyalty, referral, and review-generation programs to build reputation and market share.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Monitor KPIs such as cost per lead, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs across all locations.
  • Provide leadership with regular reporting dashboards showing campaign effectiveness and budget utilization.
  • Leverage market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and risks.

Cross-Company Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales Managers, General Managers, and Dispatch/Call Center teams to align marketing with operational goals.
  • Support HR with employer branding initiatives (recruitment campaigns, culture promotions, career fairs).
  • Coordinate with Finance on marketing budgets and spend allocation by subsidiary.

Team & Vendor Management

  • Manage internal marketing staff, designers, contractors, or interns as needed.
  • Direct external vendors and agencies, ensuring deliverables are on time and within budget.
  • Provide coaching and development to ensure marketing efforts are scalable across all companies.

Requirements:
Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of marketing management experience, preferably in service trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, or home services).
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation, digital advertising, and multi-location brand management.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency in digital platforms (Google Ads, SEO/SEM tools, social media, CRM/FieldEdge, marketing automation).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, able to balance campaigns across multiple subsidiaries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to turn data into strategy.
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to influence across companies and teams.

Work Environment

  • Primarily office-based with occasional travel to subsidiary locations and events.
  • Standard business hours with flexibility for evening/weekend events or seasonal campaign demands.

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods of sitting.
  • Ability to travel for site visits, trade shows, and community events.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. of marketing materials or display equipment.
