    We have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic professional to join our Medical team. The Marketing Manager, Chronic Disease Management, is responsible for translating global Chronic Disease Management (CDM) business segment strategies into local sales tactics & marketing activities. Working with a strong group of Sales and Business Development Managers, the role is responsible for establishing market awareness and acceptance of ZEISS technologies with a primary goal of sustainable lead generation. A focus on customer growth is central to success, while maintaining ZEISS brand attributes.
    The successful candidate will have outstanding strategic commercial experience and experience working in the healthcare sector and we will consider candidates from most major capital cities within Australia.

Key responsibilities for this position includes (but are not limited to):

  • Recommend which markets to compete in (where to compete)
  • What the basis of ZEISS’s competitive advantage is going to be (how to compete)
  • When and how ZEISS may enter each market, including new segments (when to compete) in order to ensure best competitive position for ZEISS and the efficient use of marketing resources
  • Sustained lead generation within targeted market segments
  • Report state of sales funnel, market development, market opportunities, threats and risks

Key skills required for this role include:

  • University degree in business, healthcare or marketing or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum 5 years of successful sales, marketing or application experience preferably within the healthcare industry
  • Proven successful KOL engagement experience
  • Excellent team building, teaching and motivation skills are required
  • Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills within a professional environment
  • Ability to develop and make corporate level presentations
  • Compelling written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced planning & organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks & adapt to change
