JOB DESCRIPTION
U.S. Bank is currently seeking a marketing manager for its Consumer Lending business. The marketing manager will be a key member of a cross-functional, agile team responsible for growing the mortgage and lending business through customer-centric, multi-channel marketing campaigns. The marketing manager will partner with the business line and data analytics to develop marketing strategies to drive priority business objectives; collaborate across the team to execute campaigns; and drive continuous optimization using data/analytics and insights.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Connecting business priorities, initiatives, and execution with other internal teams and stakeholders to drive synergy and deliver a connected, unified customer experience.
- Effectively using data/analytics, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to translate business goals into marketing strategies and plans.
- Partnering with data analytics to develop test plans; measure and analyze campaign results; and refine/optimize strategy and campaigns accordingly.
- Working with agency and partners to develop performance marketing campaigns that connect to brand; overseeing implementation and execution to ensure all creative delivers connectivity, consistency, and customer focus.
- Managing marketing budget in accordance with strategy and data-driven results.
- Coaching other marketing team members on campaign strategy and execution. Helping translate and coordinate sprint work across marketing team members.
- Contributing to an environment of problem solving, collaboration, creativity, support, consulting, and partnership.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Eight or more years of related experience in marketing and marketing strategy with proven ability to deliver results
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Proven experience creating and leading the execution of multi-channel marketing programs, leveraging customer insights and data to inform strategies and drive decisions
- Experience leveraging digital channels (search, display, email, in-app, etc.) and marketing technology to connect with customers and prospects with the right message at the right time
- Demonstrated leadership, diplomacy, and ability to gain buy-in from diverse teams
- Strong organizational, decision-making, problem solving, interpersonal, and team building skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to present to executive-level stakeholders
- Curiosity and creativity grounded in strategic mindset
- Understanding, interest, and expertise in the financial services industry a plus
- Agile experience a plus
