Job Purpose & Context: To design and deliver successful marketing campaigns for exhibitions, conferences, awards, and digital products in line with agreed KPIs. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Create and implement an integrated marketing strategy and drop schedule for the design & hospitality portfolio (including exhibitor, conference, and visitor campaigns, as well as special events). Use the full marketing mix to promote the exhibition and workshops by the marketing strategy and overall business objectives. Identify the target universe and key segments within the target universe. Develop personas, value propositions, and messaging for each of the key segments. Develop and deliver a Content Calendar through relevant channels (email marketing, social media, digital marketing, etc.) Ensure the show websites are fully up to date with the latest information in accordance with the campaign cycle. Strategic database build. Work with internal teams to ensure data governance and data management policies are adhered to. Use all media tools such as social platforms (organic & paid), PPC, and explore new marketing channels. Copywrite and proof all marketing materials (in conjunction with Exhibition Director/SMM if needed) in line with the content calendar and messaging. Update and adhere to the agreed marketing budget. Analyse previous marketing campaigns and KPI’s to execute targeted data/campaign selections. Analyse and report trends over time and use these insights to build more effective campaigns. Monitor campaign performance, produce relevant and timely reports, and recommend changes to campaign execution based on data insights. Monitor and adjust digital marketing activity based on performance metrics. Use GA & Power BI (and other analytics dashboards if needed) to monitor & report campaign performance. Envision and copywrite marketing materials in line with the content calendar and messaging. Coordinate the design and production of all marketing materials required to deliver the events. Support show teams with market research and collaterals needed to pitch and manage strategic partnerships at the government and private sector levels. Qualifications, Experience, & Skills: Minimum 3 years’ experience in exhibition marketing is necessary. Demonstrable marketing experience, together with the potential and attitude to learn. Experience in the Middle East market is a plus. Proficient in both spoken and written English Ability and willingness to travel for business and events. Experience with the following tools is a plus: Adestra or Emarsys, PowerBI, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and social media business manager suites. A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication. Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in 360 marketing and measurement.
