Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE:

As Marketing Manager at Fastned UK, you are responsible for making the Fastned brand stand out in the market. You will steer and direct the country’s marketing/commercial plans and strategy. You’ll identify and implement what needs to be done to make the Fastned stations the preferred place to charge for EV drivers, which includes targeting audiences beyond the end consumers such as B2B, media and landowners . You will be working closely with your UK colleagues, the UK PR manager and the Commercial team in Amsterdam and external agencies. Your projects have a mixture of strategic and operational value, incl. the day-to-day management of all brand-related work in the UK market. You will be responsible for building relationships with car manufacturers, lease companies, and fleet owners. In concrete terms, this means you:

Act as the key commercial manager in the UK team and be the important link between the Global commercial team and the local team;

  • Increase the visibility of our stations and Fastned in general (partnerships, website, social media, mailings, possibly also conferences, etc.), working together with the Commercial team in Amsterdam and the PR manager and agencies in the UK
  • Improve the visibility and accessibility of our locations and identifying the right commercial proposition
  • Analyze market developments to ensure Fastned is strongly positioned in the market, plan accordingly, and evaluate the impact of our efforts in the UK market:
  • Improve the quality of our locations based on local insights and international guidance:
  • Ensure that Fastned’s visual identity is applied and recognized in the UK market both externally and internally:
  • Manage or support in managing relationships with OEMs (car manufacturers), fleet owners and MSP (charge card) relationships relevant to the UK;
  • Support our Network Development team when attracting/managing location partners;
  • Monitor and report on results and budgets.
