About the position:

First Book seeks a creative, values-driven, and entrepreneurial individual to lead new business development strategies for this fast-growing organization. The ideal candidate is a demonstrated leader with experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic organization, possesses an entrepreneurial spirit, and a highly collaborative work style. The position sources and cultivates NEW corporate partnerships, and also focuses on capacity-building and programmatic strategies that support our organizational growth.
Responsibilities include leading revenue generation of $2 million (minimum), strategy development, relationship building, project management, budgeting, partnership marketing, and team management. The person in this role must be an experienced financial developer or revenue generator, possess solid business writing and presentation skills, excellent verbal communication, experience with pitch formation and delivery, creative and bold thinking, exceptional critical thinking skills, and a passion for corporate social responsibility.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SYSTEMS:

  • 4+ years of work experience in communications or digital marketing required.
  • Experience managing performance-oriented paid social media campaigns, such as Meta and/or Google Ads, required.
  • Proficiency with graphic design tools such as Photoshop or Canva is required.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud, Constant Contact, or another similar email platform preferred.
  • Experience with WordPress preferred.
  • Experience with external client/partner relationship management preferred.
Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support Program Design & Resource Creation –The Manager guides the structure of programs and their communication campaigns to ensure all touch points are user-friendly, impactful, and relevant.Many initiatives include developing and then marketingfree resources and tools that support practitioners as professionals. The Manager supports initiative & resource development by:
  • Identifying success metrics that ensure funded campaigns accomplish both First Book organizational and partner goals, advance our mission, and provide a valuable, positive experience for members.
  • Working alongside brand, corporate and non-profit partnership managers to guide programs from ideation through to impact reporting.
  • Multi-Channel Marketing – We seek a creative communicator with strong design and marketing skills. The Manager works alongside the Senior Manager – Partnerships Marketing & Communications and Senior Director of Marketing & Communications, and Senior Director of Member Engagement to create and execute robust marketing plans that drive awareness and usage of First Book’s products, resources, and opportunities. The Manager drives successful marketing by:
  • Designing content and campaign elements/assets for multi-channel campaigns (ex: email, digital ad creative, and SMS using Photoshop, Canva, etc.)
  • Developing and executing communication strategies to promote new resources and initiatives through paid Meta and Google ad placement, organic social, content marketing, SMS campaigns, direct mail, email marketing, etc.
  • Monitoring campaign performance metrics, implementing adjustments accordingly, and creating reports for internal and external stakeholders
