JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our marketing team. We expect the candidate to have knowledge of social media marketing, SEO, data analysis, design, budgeting, content creation, project management, salesforce administration. The post holder will be expected to use their own initiative and draw on previous experience to improve our strategy, train and develop the team and ensure the successful delivery of our marketing initiatives to meet targets and increase growth.

SKILLS:

❖ Proven experience in leading a team
❖ Knowledge of social media marketing, SEO, data analysis, design, content creation and project management.
❖ Ability to write literate, professional and persuasive copy that is relevant to the target audience.
❖ Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills
❖ IT literacy, including MS Office, the internet and social media technologies
❖ Experience in using graphic and video software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, After Effects, Blender
❖ Ability to be reactive to last-minute needs, to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines and multi-task.
❖ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, WORK EXPERIENCE:

✔ Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or above from an accredited institution of higher education
✔ Proven track record of relevant work experience
✔ Experience in digital marketing and implementing online campaigns
✔ Experience at both strategic and tactical levels of managing marketing activities
✔ Evidence of brand implementation and reputation management
✔ Experience of developing creative briefs, working with designers and an understanding of print production techniques
✔ Understanding of UK HE system and it’s challenges

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • To work Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 (including 1-hour lunch) from our Central London office (Bond street station).

Responsibilities
  • Developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives.
  • Co-ordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities.
  • Responsibility for the corporate section of the website and content which supports key corporate marketing and communications campaigns
  • Carry out market research in order to keep up to date with customer trends, as well as trying to predict future trends
  • Develop strategies and manage marketing campaigns across print, broadcast and online platforms to ensure that products and services meet customers’ expectations and to build the credibility of brands
  • Develop and deliver a marketing engagement plan for all our corporate events to reach new audiences in partnership with the Events team
  • Brief campaign requirements to key internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage Campaigns & Analyse Metrics: Work with marketing team to set targets for campaign tactics and track campaign performance against defined objectives; ensure all campaigns are available and communicated to key stakeholders; and drive collaboration and best practices sharing among all teams
  • Analysing the success of marketing campaigns, forecasting the outcomes and creating reports for the board of Directors
  • Supervise advertising, product design and other forms of marketing to maintain consistency in branding
  • Manage Ad-hoc requests for marketing and promotional campaigns from local markets
  • Manage and oversee the company’s marketing budgets
  • Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans; producing prospectuses, booklets and other published marketing materials.
  • Planning and implementing promotional campaigns.
  • Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.
  • Manage and deliver digital and online marketing campaigns including maintenance and development of existing social media
  • Manage and organize the work of marketing team; Set, monitor and report on team goals
  • Provide trainings, supporting and leading the work of the marketing team; Craft strategies for the team, including Digital, Advertising, Communications and Creative
  • Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)
  • Keep close communication with all markets to ensure the global strategy is effectively taking place
  • Create up-to-date web content, provide ideas and input into the development of new e marketing materials and communicate them effectively within the team order to ensure that communication materials are delivered within the set timeframes
  • Prepare marketing collateral for the Company’s Partner Universities and High Schools working in cooperation with External Relations Department
  • Compile marketing plan and strategy in relation to upcoming events and recruitment cycle tailored for specific market region
  • Managing the stock of all marketing collateral i.e. brochures; creating systems to identify when stock needs to be replenished
  • Liaise with university representatives to request and collate up-to-date information for marketing publications
  • Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of company objectives; liaise with HR department regarding hiring plans; support candidate screening and selection
  • Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features)
  • Represent Global Study UK at local and national Career & School Fairs in the MENA region, partner’s exhibitions and at Global Study UK Fairs & Tours
  • Assume full ownership of CRM (Salesforce) from life cycle communications, through to re engagement and growth; own the global CRM Calendar and inform markets with campaign plans
