About the Role We're looking for a sharp, creative, and commercially minded Marketing Executive to join our growing team. You'll play a key role in executing marketing campaigns, shaping our brand voice, and ensuring every activation — from email to events — ladders up to a cohesive and compelling story. You'll work closely with the Head of Marketing and collaborate across sales, product, and design to ensure our messaging is sharp, consistent, and effective. You'll also be a key creative partner to our Social Media Manager, jointly developing exciting ideas and activations that bring the Happy Pay brand to life across every channel. You're someone who has a finger on the pulse of culture, keeps up with the latest trends, and knows how to connect what's happening in the world to what a brand should be saying and doing. This is a role for someone who thinks in campaigns, sweats the details, and gets genuine satisfaction from seeing a big idea land well. What You'll Do Brand Management Support the Happy Pay brand, ensuring consistency in tone, visual identity, and messaging across all channels and touchpoints Develop and maintain brand guidelines and templates for use across the business Help review marketing materials to ensure everything that goes out feels polished and on-brand Help evolve the brand as the business grows, keeping it fresh, relevant, and distinctive Campaign Planning & Execution Support the end-to-end planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, email, social, and offline channels Stay on top of cultural trends, platform developments, and industry news to ensure campaigns feel timely, relevant, and connected to what's happening in the world Collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager to develop exciting activations and campaign concepts that come to life across owned and earned channels Coordinate campaign timelines, assets, and deliverables, keeping all stakeholders aligned and on track. Brief creative teams, agencies, and freelancers to produce high-quality assets on time Email Marketing Assist with Happy Pay's email marketing programme, including consumer newsletters, merchant communications, and promotional campaigns Build and maintain segmented audiences to ensure the right messages reach the right people at the right time Align email campaigns with social and broader campaign activity for a joined-up experience Test, optimise, and report on performance to continuously improve open rates, click-through, and conversion Merchant & Partnership Marketing Support merchant onboarding and co-marketing initiatives to drive platform adoption and engagement Develop case studies, one-pagers, and sales enablement materials in partnership with the sales team Identify and help manage partnership opportunities that extend Happy Pay's reach and credibility Work with the Social Media Manager to amplify partnerships and activations across owned channels Performance & Reporting Help maintain the marketing calendar, keeping all activity coordinated and clearly communicated across the business Track and report on campaign performance, brand metrics, and email KPIs Conduct competitor and market research to keep strategy sharp and positioning differentiated Support paid media efforts by coordinating assets and feeding insights back into campaign planning What We're Looking For 2/3+ years of experience in a marketing role, ideally within a startup, tech, or fintech environment Naturally curious and culturally aware, with a habit of keeping up with trends across social, pop culture, and the broader marketing landscape Experience running campaigns end-to-end, from concept through to execution and reporting Strong creative instincts paired with solid project management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a great eye for detail Experience with email marketing platforms such as Sendgrid, Mailchimp, or similar A natural collaborator and ideas person who thrives working alongside creative teammates Commercially minded with a genuine interest in how marketing drives business outcomes Passion for building brands that stand for something and make a real difference Why Join Happy Pay?
