House of Fine Carpentry is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead our marketing and business development efforts in crafting and executing comprehensive marketing strategies. If you’re a dynamic marketer with a flair for creativity and a track record of delivering impactful results this could be the opportunity for you. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, maximizing lead generation, enhancing customer retention, and achieving sales goals.
Please note that this role is to be the Marketing Manager for both House of Fine Carpentry and Swedish Door.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post secondary Degree in Marketing
  • 5 years of experience in a marketing role

SKILLS:

  • 5 years of marketing experience (in-house or agency)
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • A strong eye for design and brand alignment
  • Confident with digital platforms (email marketing, Meta Ads, Google Analytics)
  • Proficient in Canva or Adobe Suite
  • Experience working with creative teams or agencies
  • A passion for interiors, craftsmanship, or design

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Marketing Executive, you’ll step into a hands-on role overseeing the daily marketing efforts across both brands. You’ll work on campaigns, lead social and digital initiatives, coordinate content and product launches, and work closely with our internal teams and external agency partners.
You will report to the Marketing Manager & Operations Manager and will receive support and guidance throughout the transition and beyond.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Business Development: Collaborate with executive team and sales team to identify new business opportunities for areas of growth and drive business development initiatives.
  • Creative Acumen: Coordinate and lead photo/video shoots, orchestrating seamless collaboration among teams to capture compelling visuals that breathe life into the company’s portfolio and drive impactful marketing initiatives.
  • Content Marketing: Lead a team in formulating a comprehensive content marketing calendar aimed at enhancing brand awareness, customer retention and sales opportunities.
  • Budget Management: Experience in annual budget allocation and project management to ensure optimize resource utilization.
  • Digital Advertising: Strategically execute PPC advertising and remarketing campaigns through Google, Meta, and others, aligning with campaign objectives.
  • Multichannel Marketing: Showcase expertise across diverse marketing channels, encompassing direct mail, radio, TV, print, and digital platforms for a holistic and integrated marketing approach.
  • Email Marketing: Strategize and execute impactful marketing email campaigns tailored to target audiences.
  • SEO Optimization: Apply advanced SEO optimization techniques, overseeing blog copywriting, and ensuring blogs are infused with SEO-optimized keywords for enhanced visibility.
  • SEM: Conduct SEM keyword forecasting and research, staying abreast of industry trends to improve search engine rankings.
  • Competitor Analysis: Conduct in-depth competitor analysis to stay ahead in the dynamic market landscape.
  • Reporting: Draft diverse attribution reports detailing campaign performance metrics, including traffic, KPIs, CTRs, conversion metrics, etc.
  • CRM Management: Manage company CRM marketing and sales systems, ensuring the continued development of marketing persona funnels.
  • E-commerce Management: Direct the development and maintenance of the online retail store, overseeing product images, descriptions, SEO optimization, and coordinating photography efforts for Swedish Door’s digital storefront.
  • Content Marketing: Lead a team in crafting a content marketing calendar to maximize lead generation, customer retention, and sales goals.
