Marketing Manager, Industrial and IoT Know how to bring people, marketing ideas, and technology together? We need that! Portainer is looking for a Marketing Manager - Industrial and IoT, to help shape the next chapter of our Edge story. If you're fluent in both English and German, love turning technical ideas into compelling campaigns, and want to work across continents with some of the smartest minds in Edge technology, this could be your perfect next move. You’ll collaborate closely with our strategic partners and internal teams to deliver marketing campaigns that connect, inspire, and drive growth. Expect variety, autonomy, and travel across the US and Europe as you help position Portainer as a leader in the Industrial and IoT ecosystem. Reporting into our Head of Marketing and Growth, you’ll work closely with our partners and internal teams to: Develop and deliver joint marketing initiatives with our partners that strengthen our Industrial and IoT presence Plan and run co-branded campaigns, webinars, and digital events Manage our participation in trade fairs across the US and Europe Build strong partner relationships and ensure clear, aligned messaging Collaborate across marketing, engineering, and product teams to simplify technical stories Measure campaign results and continually improve performance This is a collaborative role where you’ll working with teams in New Zealand and Germany, and working face to face with our partner marketing teams in the US and Europe to help represent Portainer on the global stage. You’ll need strong organisational skills, curiosity, and a love for travel and teamwork. Ideally, you’ll be based in the US Central or Mountain Time zones (for example Texas, Arizona, or Colorado) to allow morning overlap with our European Edge team and afternoon syncs with our New Zealand Marketing team. However, this role can be based from anywhere as long as you can accommodate the time zone differences i.e. having the flexibility to work with NZ timezone, Euro timezone and US timezone. Proven experience in B2B technical, partner, and ideally product marketing Experience planning and executing multi-channel campaigns and events Strong relationship-building and stakeholder-management skills Clear communication and storytelling ability across diverse audiences Excellent project management, organisation, and follow-through Fluency in English and German Comfortable working remotely across global time zones Willingness to travel regularly within the US and quarterly to Europe Bonus points for: Experience in Industrial IoT or Edge computing markets Exposure to open-source technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM, or analytics tools At Portainer, we don’t just offer jobs, we offer epic opportunities.
