ABOUT THE ROLE We’re seeking a strategic and collaborative Marketing Manager to elevate LOJEL’s brand presence in Japan. In this role, you’ll act as the key bridge between our global marketing headquarters in Hong Kong and the Japanese market—localizing brand strategies, driving growth initiatives, and building meaningful connections across all consumer touchpoints. You’ll partner closely with the Japan General Manager and HQ Marketing team to shape regional campaigns, launch new business ventures, and continuously strengthen LOJEL’s positioning in Japan. RESPONSIBILITIES Adapt and execute global marketing strategies for the Japanese market, ensuring alignment with both global and regional goals. Lead all aspects of Japan’s marketing operations, collaborating closely with HQ Marketing. Plan, execute, and evaluate multi-channel campaigns to drive brand awareness, acquisition, and engagement. Partner with HQ stakeholders to implement and optimize performance marketing initiatives, including paid media, SEO, email marketing, and affiliate programs. Integrate performance insights into broader marketing strategies to strengthen overall brand impact. Manage LOJEL Japan’s communication calendar, ensuring a consistent and resonant presence across social channels and influencer partnerships. Track ROI and KPIs for both paid and organic campaigns, providing regular performance analyses and recommendations. Oversee relationships with external agencies and vendors to ensure quality and efficiency. Manage the Japan marketing budget, ensuring cost efficiency and proactively identifying optimization opportunities. Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams to maintain brand consistency and business alignment. Partner with the Sustainability Manager to integrate ESG messaging and compliance into Japan’s marketing activities. Develop earned media strategies and nurture relationships with PR and media partners. Monitor brand positioning and market trends to guide strategic decisions and local team direction. WHAT YOU BRING 5+ years of relevant marketing experience, including digital marketing, influencer partnerships, PR, and event execution. Proven success in driving brand awareness and sales, with a solid understanding of modern marketing best practices. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline. Experience in consumer goods (lifestyle, retail, apparel, or athleisure preferred). Global or multinational brand experience is a plus. Strong business acumen with the ability to make data-driven decisions and achieve KPI/ROI targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; effective at cross-functional collaboration. Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency required.
