Job Description Be the face of GYG marketing in Queensland and make the brand impossible to ignore. GYG is growing fast in QLD, and this role is how we make that growth stick at the local level. The Marketing Manager – Local Area Marketing (QLD) owns the marketing relationship with our corporate and franchise partners across the state, translating the national plan into local activity that drives real sales into real restaurants. You'll work across grassroots sponsorships, local campaigns, new restaurant openings, and everything in between, as the person QLD turns to for all things marketing. What You'll Do Develop and execute bespoke local area marketing plans across QLD, working 1:1 with corporate and franchise restaurant groups Build and manage relationships with franchisees, corporate ops teams, restaurant managers and the NRO team to lead marketing at the local and state level Develop, lead and execute grassroots sponsorship strategies that build brand awareness and community engagement through long-term local partnerships Find opportunities to get GYG food and merchandise into the hands of potential guests through sponsorships, activations and community events Use GYG's first party data to identify restaurant opportunities and work proactively with those restaurants to improve performance Brief and manage local area marketing campaigns across social, digital, radio, OOH and other channels in partnership with internal design, digital and media agency teams Work with the NRO team to coordinate marketing for new restaurant openings across QLD Drive local delivery and GYG App sales growth in partnership with the Delivery Marketing and Digital Revenue teams Build post-campaign analysis and case studies to share learnings across the wider restaurant network What You'll Bring 5-8 years' marketing experience, preferably in-house brand management in a consumer, retail or hospitality environment Holistic marketing mindset with the ability to incorporate digital, social, media, PR and local channels into a cohesive state strategy Proven experience setting, chasing and achieving commercial targets Strong relationship-building skills: comfortable being the face of marketing for an entire state and managing franchise and corporate stakeholders Self-starter with high energy, strong initiative and the ability to move fast in a growing business Valid Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel intrastate What You'll Love We back our people.
